5G Postpaid Plans

  1. What are the new Postpaid plans?

    They are our new Postpaid promotion plan with 5G high-speed data quota per month. There are no extra charges when the data quota has been fully used. The data speed will be throttled down to 64kbps upon full utilization of the data quota.

  2. How long is this offer?

    This is an offer effective from 2 May 2024 until further notice.

  3. Where can I sign up for these plans?

    You may walk-in to any of our redONE stores or redONE Partners or you may self-register online.

  4. Who is eligible to subscribe to the new Postpaid plans?

    All Malaysians and foreigners above 18 years old can sign up for these plans. The plan is available for new registrations, mobile number portability (MNP) port-ins and rate plan changes. (excluding M2M).

  5. How much do I need to pay upon registration?

    The Advance payment for all Mobile Number Portability (MNP) Port-in request is waived.

  6. How do I switch back to my previous plan?

    You may change to any plans which are published on our website if you meet the eligibility requirement. Plans which are no longer published are closed for new subscription.

  7. What will happen to the 5G Bonus Quota if I change my plan to another plan?

    5G bonus quota shall be forfeited if there is change to non-eligible plans.

  8. Does the 5G bonus quota come with a contract?

    No. The 5G bonus quota does not come with contract.

  9. When can I get the 5G Bonus Quota?

    You will receive the quota immediately upon the successful plan activation.

  10. If I have not utilised all the quota for base and hotspot, can I bring forward the unused quota for next month?

    No, the validity for the Internet and Hotspot is only until the end of the month. The unused quota will be forfeited and not carried forward.

redCALL

  1. What is redCALL?

    redCALL is a new Value-Added Service (VAS) that enables high voice usage customers to make unlimited voice calls to all networks in Malaysia.

  2. Do I need to activate/ subscribe redCALL?

    No, the redCALL will be activated automatically once your 5G Postpaid38 or 5G Postpaid 48 plan is successfully activated or successfully ported-in.

  3. I don’t want the redCALL service. Can I terminate it?

    No, you cannot terminate the redCALL service. It is bundled with the 5G Postpaid38 and 5G Postpaid 48 plan for you to enjoy unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia.

  4. Is the unlimited voice calls to all networks valid for calls made when I am roaming?

    The unlimited voice calls is valid for domestic calls in Malaysia only.

  5. Does the unlimited voice calls include calls to fixed lines e.g. 03 numbers?

    Yes. The unlimited voice calls include all domestic calls to mobile numbers and fixed line numbers in Malaysia. Calls to special numbers are excluded.

  6. Is there a Fair Usage Policy for the unlimited voice calls?

    Yes. Unlimited voice calls to all networks is subject to our Fair Usage Policy which will be applicable if you have exceeded 100 hours per month.

  7. What happens when I exceed the Fair Usage Policy for unlimited calls?

    You can continue to call other networks’ numbers at RM0.15 per minute for the remaining days of the calendar month.

Unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram (5G Postpaid38)

  1. What is the unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram?

    The unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram @ 6 Mbps is bundled to the 5G Postpaid38 for streaming until the end of the month.

  2. I don’t want the unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram service. Can I terminate it?

    No, you cannot terminate the service. It is bundled with the5G Postpaid38 for you to enjoy unlimited streaming to YouTube, Facebook & Instagram.

  3. Is there a Fair Usage Policy for the unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram?

    Yes, Fair Usage Policy of 50 GB per month is applicable.

  4. What happens when I exceed the Fair Usage Policy?

    Subsequent data usage will be deducted from your main data bucket.

  5. When can I utilise the unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram quota?

    You can utilise the unlimited data quota at any time.

  6. What is the speed of the unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram?

    The speed of the unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram streaming is capped at 6 Mbps.

  7. Am I allowed to share the unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram with other devices via mobile hotspot?

    No. The the unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram is meant for personal use on your smartphone only.

  1. What is 5G?

    5G is the 5th generation of mobile networks. With this technology, you can expect a better online experience using your mobile Internet with 5G connectivity.

  2. How will I know when I can use 5G?

    redONE will send you an SMS notification stating that you can start using 5G services. Once you received this SMS, you can enjoy these services automatically with a 5G device within the 5G coverage area and the 5G icon will appear on your phone.

  3. What if I don’t see the 5G icon on my phone?

    If the 5G icon doesn’t appear automatically, you can set your phone manually to receive 5G coverage. First, make sure that you are within a 5G coverage area so you can have instant access to 5G. Then, follow the steps below:

    Setting > Connection > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > Select 5G/LTE/3G/2G (Auto Connect)

  4. Why is my network experience inconsistent when switching between 4G and 5G?

    The 5G network is currently in the roll-out process. Please expect occasional network interruptions when switching between 4G and 5G.

  5. What are the benefits of having 5G?

    1. Faster speeds so that downloading and uploading large content or data will take a much shorter time

  3. RM38 Advance Payment is required. The Advance Payment is waived for MNP-Port-in customers. The collected Advance Payment will be used to deduct against your first month’s bill, and you will only be required to pay any balance due under your first month’s bill.

  4. Registration by non-Malaysian citizen customers shall be charged with a deposit equivalent to their respective monthly credit limit.

  5. The bundled data, redCALL and unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram are bundled with the 5G Postpaid38 plan and are not optional. RM10 per month will be charged to the bill for redCALL.

  3. Unlimited voice calls include:

    1. All domestic calls to redONE Postpaid, redONE Prepaid, and other mobile operators
    2. All domestic calls to national fixed line numbers

  4. CALLS EXCLUDED from the unlimited voice calls include:

    1. Calls to 1300 / 1700 / 1600 / 1MOCC numbers
    2. Calls to special and premium numbers
    3. Video calls
    4. IDD calls

  5. The redCALL VAS will be auto-renewed on the 1st of every month.

  6. In any event where the customer wants to change his/her subscribed plan from the NEW 5G Postpaid38 and 5G Postpaid48 to another plan, the subscription to redCALL will be automatically continued unless the new plan is Amazing8, RP8, Amazing28+ or Data28.

  7. The unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia shall NOT be:

    1. Re-sold, rented or utilized in any other way except as an individual making calls to other network users in Malaysia
    2. Used for rerouting calls (connection with a device/software/application)
    3. Used to setup switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours
    4. Used for multiple simultaneous calling and conference calling
    5. Used for call centre and telemarketing
    6. Used for continuous calling for an extended period of time, auto-dialing and machine-to-machine communication

Unlimited YouTube, Facebook & Instagram (5G Postpaid38)

  1. YouTube, Facebook & Instagram unlimited is only for domestic usage within Malaysia.

  2. When customers stream YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram, the unlimited quota will be used first.

  3. Once the unlimited quota has been fully utilized, subsequent usage of YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram will be deducted from the main data quota.

  4. When customers browse the web, play online games, or share data, the main data quota will be used.

  5. Accessing links within YouTube, Facebook & Instagram:

    1. If the content is within YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram, your unlimited quota will be used.
    2. If the content link directs you outside of YouTube, Facebook & Instagram:
      1. If you have remaining internet quota balance, your internet plan quota will be used for the content; otherwise, usage will be slowed to 64kbps.

  6. YouTube, Facebook & Instagram unlimited is included with the NEW 5G Postpaid38 plan and is not optional.

  7. YouTube, Facebook & Instagram unlimited will be automatically renewed on the 1st of every month.

  8. The quota for YouTube, Facebook & Instagram unlimited will expire at the end of the calendar month.

  9. YouTube, Facebook & Instagram unlimited can only be used within the country, i.e., within the Malaysian network. Data usage while overseas will incur roaming charges. Customers will be charged based on the data rates imposed by the respective redONE roaming operators for data usage while roaming with redONE’s overseas roaming partners.

  10. In any event where customers want to change their subscribed plan from 5G Postpaid38 and 5G Postpaid48 to another plan, YouTube, Facebook & Instagram unlimited will be automatically terminated.

  11. After 100% utilization of the YouTube, Facebook & Instagram unlimited quota, any further internet usage will be deducted from the bundled high-speed data or available Data Top Up.

  12. YouTube, Facebook & Instagram unlimited is only for the individual use of customers and cannot be shared with anyone else or devices in any manner (including modems or mobile hotspots).

  13. redONE will endeavor to fully utilize the YouTube, Facebook & Instagram unlimited quota whenever customers are streaming via the unlimited quota. However, there may be instances where the unlimited quota may inadvertently be used even when there is no streaming content on YouTube, Facebook & Instagram, or the data quota from the customer’s plan may be accidentally used to stream instead of the unlimited quota. These could occur due to various reasons, including technical issues such as missed configuration or whitelisting of wrong IP addresses by third parties, or due to changes or updates in IP addresses and URLs by YouTube, Facebook & Instagram partners without giving redONE sufficient notice to update our system. Customers must acknowledge the possibility of these instances happening and agree not to hold us liable.

5G Data Bonus

  1. The Bonus 5G data is only available within the 5G network area via use of a 5G capable, supported and enabled Mobile Device. When you are located outside the 5G network coverage area, you will be running on your 4G data.

  2. To enjoy 5G, please ensure that:

    1. You are using a 5G capable device;
    2. You have a 4G LTE SIM;
    3. You have 5G settings enabled on your device;
    4. You are within 5G coverage.

  3. The Bonus 5G data can be utilised for ALL usages on your smartphone – web browsing, video streaming, social chatting, etc., and you may use it on 5G networks only.

  4. Your Bonus 5G data will be deducted from 5G datapool first before using the 5G/4G data.

  5. The Bonus 5G data is for personal use only.

  6. No charge for the 5G data. Customer will not be able to enjoy the 5G data should the line is suspended.

  7. Customers cannot request to cancel the 5G data.

redDATA (5G Postpaid48)

  1. The redDATA Value-Added Service (VAS) offers unlimited data@6Mbps and is applicable for domestic usage within Malaysian only.

  2. The redDATA VAS is bundled with the NEW 5G Postpaid48 Postpaid plan and is not optional.

  3. The unlimited data can be used for all data services.

  4. redDATA can only be utilized domestically i.e. within Malaysia network only. Data usage when overseas are subjected to data roaming charges. The customer shall be charged based on the data rates imposed by the respective redONE roaming operators for data usage while roaming with redONE’s overseas roaming partners.

  5. The redDATA VAS will be auto renewed on the 1st of every month.

  6. The redDATA data will expire at the end of the calendar month. Any unutilised redDATA data will not be carried forward to the following month.

  7. In any event where the customer wants to change his/her subscribed plan from NEW 5G Postpaid48 to another plan, the subscription to redDATA will be automatically terminated.

  8. Upon 100% utilization of the redDATA quota, any further Internet usage will be deducted from available Data Top Up quota or you will surf on reduced speeds.

  9. Unlimited data quota is restricted only for Subscriber’s individual use and cannot be shared with any other person(s) or devices in any manner (including SIM boxes or mobile hotspot) and is subjected to redONE’s Fair Usage Policy.

  10. Data service is subject to network limitations and availability and device capability. Your download speed and data capacity will vary and may be slower and could be affected by your distance from our mobile tower, the capacity of our mobile tower, the source of your download, your handset type and quality, the general Internet traffic and coverage availability or due to Fair Usage Policy.   11. redDATA is non-transferable, whether by operation of law or otherwise, either to any other person, entity or any other Postpaid account.

  12. We reserve the rights at any time without being liable to you or any third party to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Plan and Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Plan and Service(s) if your usage:

    shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on the network;

    1. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;

  1. When the customer is streaming YouTube, Facebook or Instagram, the unlimited bucket will be utilized first.

  2. If the customer is using a 5G enabled device, when browsing the web or playing online games the Bonus 5G data bucket will be utilized first. Should there be no 5G service, the usage will be deducted from the main Internet quota bucket.

  3. Once the unlimited FREEBIE bucket has been fully utilized, subsequent YouTube, Facebook or Instagram usage will be deducted from the 5G bucket if the customer is using a 5G enabled device. Otherwise, the main data bucket will be deducted.

  4. Your 5G data usage will be deducted from the Bonus 5G Data datapool first before using the 5G/4G data.

  5. Hotspot usage will be deducted from the bundled 5G/4G data bucket.

    Your balance quota for the month will be forfeited.
  7. Will I be tied to a contract if I sign up for this plan?
    This plan is not contracted. If you take up a premium number, you will be subjected to a contract period of 24 months.
  8. After I take up one of these plans, am I allowed to upgrade my monthly data bundle?
    You can buy the one-off Data Top Up by dialing *123# or log on to 1App to purchase additional data.

  6. When can I utilise the redDAILY data quota?
    You can use the redDAILY data anytime. The redDAILY data will expire at the end of the day at 11:59PM every day.
  7. What is the speed of the redDAILY data for streaming?
    The speed of the redDAILY data quota is high speed. You will need to use a 4G LTE compatible device to enjoy the 4G speed.
  8. Does redDAILY consume my plan’s bundled data?
    No. redDAILY provides you additional daily data for your data needs. Standard data consumption may apply for any in-app purchase, third party apps and links out of redDAILY’s partners.

Amazing58

  1. All prices displayed exclude service tax which will be imposed on you in your monthly bill.
  2. Monthly access fee for Amazing58 plan is only applicable for the bundled high speed data, bundled redDAILY 2GB and unlimited voice calls to all networks in Malaysia and fixed line numbers, not for video calls and voice calls to special numbers.
  3. RM58 Advance Payment is required. The Advance Payment is waived for MNP- Port-in customers. The Advance Payment collected will be used to deduct against your first month’s bill and you will only be required to pay any balance due under your first month’s bill.
  4. Registration by non-Malaysian citizen customers shall be charged with a deposit equivalent of their respective monthly credit limit.
  5. The redCALL and redDAILY 2 GB VAS are bundled with the Amazing58 plan and are not optional. RM10 per month will be charged to the bill for redCALL.
  6. The bundled data, bundled redDAILY 2 GB and unlimited voice calls to all networks are applicable for domestic usage only within Malaysia network. Roaming and IDD are chargeable based on Pay-Per-Use (PPU) rate.
  7. In the Amazing58 plan’s first bill, the data bundle will be prorated based on the customer’s bundled high speed data usage. The prorated usage prices are as below:

  10. A change plan request to the new Amazing58 plan is allowed starting from 1st August 2023.
  11. In the event of termination, there will not be any pro-rated billing on your last bill; you will be charged the full month’s commitment fee.

redCALL

  1. The redCALL Value-Added Service (VAS) offers unlimited voice calls to all networks and is applicable for domestic usage within Malaysian networks only. Video calls and voice calls to special numbers are excluded.
  2. The redCALL VAS is bundled with the NEW Amazing38 and Amazing58 Postpaid plans and is not optional. RM10 per month will be charged to the bill.
  3. Unlimited voice calls include:
    • All domestic calls to redONE Postpaid, redONE Prepaid and other mobile operators
    • All domestic calls to national fixed line numbers
  4. CALLS EXCLUDED from the unlimited voice calls include:
    • Calls to 1300 / 1700 / 1600 / 1MOCC numbers
    • Calls to special and premium numbers
    • Video calls
    • IDD calls
  5. The redCALL VAS will be auto renewed on the 1st of every month.
  6. In any event where the customer wants to change his/her subscribed plan from the new Amazing38 or Amazing58 to another plan, the subscription to redCALL will be automatically continued unless the new plan is Amazing8 or RP8.
  7. The unlimited calls to all networks in Malaysia shall NOT be:
    • Re-sold, rented or utilized in any other way except as an individual making calls to other network users in Malaysia
    • Used for rerouting calls (connection with a device/software/application)
    • Used to setup switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours
    • Used for multiple simultaneous calling and conference calling
    • Used for call centre and telemarketing
    • Used for continuous calling for extended period of time, auto dialing and machine to machine communication

redDAILY

  1. The redDAILY offers per day usage every day until the end of the month or until the redDAILY data quota is fully utilised. Once the customers have fully utilised the daily quota, they can purchase the high speed Value Added-Services or Data Top Up.
  2. The redDAILY quota can be used for all data services in Malaysia.
  3. The redDAILY is bundled with the new Amazing38 and Amazing58 Postpaid plan and is not optional.
